End of the Year Sparklers

Loredan Gasparini NV Prosecco
This Prosecco Brut shows straw colors with hints of green. Marked by aromas of yellow flowers and freshly mown hay; followed by flavors of apple, yellow peach and pineapple. This wine is extraordinary and shows a persistant palate, great structure and concentration, and an unexpected long finish.

Mont Marcal Cava Reserva
“Clean and fresh, with pleasant apple, citrus and spice flavors and an almond note. A good all-around bubbly, before or with a meal. 86 Points.” The Wine Spectator

Gruet NV Blanc de Nois
“Mature, with good richness and complexity built around a core of earthy pear, spice and hazelnut flavors. Finishes with a nice dry aftertaste. 86 Points.” The Wine Spectator

Duval-Leroy Champagne
“A big, full-bodied bubbly, featuring graphite, toast, lemon and nut aromas and flavors. Balanced, with an assertive finish. Will improve with a few months of cellaring. 93 Points/Highly Recommended.” - The Wine Spectator

Warre 10 Year Otima Tawny
“A ripe and rich tawny. Loads of caramel, honey and dried fruits, with just a hint of Douro bake, or iodine character. Full-bodied, sweet and very toffeelike on the palate. Long finish. Dying for nuts and Stilton. 90 Points.” The Wine Spectator

Troon Insomnia Port
Dates, fruit cake, and characteristics of amaretto round out the nose. Flavors include candied apple and spicy currant jam, with an ultra-smoothness.
